HY-T-80 is a calcined kaolin with a platy structure, high whiteness, fine particle size and optimized particle size distribution.

The product features low oil absorption, good matting properties and hiding power. It is designed for water-based and solvent-based coatings and can improve coating resistance to cracking, wet abrasion and salt spray. It is recommended for partial replacement of titanium dioxide to reduce formulation costs.
